When an organic farm in Templeton offered to let us use some of their land to plant and tend to our own garden we knew we couldn't pass up the opportunity. We became farmers and have learned more than we ever imagined about tomatoes, squash, lettuce, chard......and gophers. We think it's our responsibility as proponents of local, sustainable and organic food to understand every aspect of the process. And to us, that means getting dirty and literally starting from the very beginning.
